Costa Rica is known for its outdoor adventure and beautiful scenery. Truly everyday is an adventure and especially when it is cold and gloomy in many parts of the US, it's the perfect week long getaway to hike, kayak, raft, zip line, make chocolate and observe gigantic turtles nesting, It has been a while since we did a trip there. We have two itineraries in the works. One is a little more off the beaten track and this one, though still not the typical itinerary, has us visiting volcanoes and beaches.
